    Description

This is vintage unit, it is at least 50ty yrs old. The unit was meant for professional photographers with medium format cameras as opposed to large format cameras. Large format negative size 4x5 and larger. medium format negative size 35mm and 2x2-1/2.
The flash uses a light tube that is permanently mounted in the unit. On the right side on the flash is the light meter. the meter does not go above a 200 ASA, this alone indicates the age as film by the mid sixties was up to 400 ASA. The piece is constructed of Bakelite or possibly an early type of polyvinyl. The color is black with a pattern that make it look like leather. The mount is tighten by a thumb wheel on the left side is the AC connection and on the back is a switch that puts it in to either battery or AC mode. The PC wire is hardwired to the unit.
At this time I am not sure if the light is still good.
The dimensions of the Flash are:
Height: 4-1/2 inches or 11.4 cms
Length: 2-3/8 inches or 6 cms
Width: 1-1/2 inches or 3.8 cms
